KISD Offers Summer Graduation Ceremony

In addition to its four graduation ceremonies on June 7 at Hofheinz Pavilion, the Klein ISD will provide a districtwide ceremony on August, 23. This ceremony will be smaller than the June events, but it will be a formal ceremony in keeping with the importance and tradition of high school graduation.

This additional ceremony came about as a result of a vote on November 15, 2007, by the Klein ISD Board of Trustees. Information has been provided for parents about this modification. If parents have questions about graduation, they may contact their child’s guidance counselor.

To participate in a Klein graduation ceremony, a student must have satisfied all graduation requirements including the completion of state credits and the successful passing of all sections of the state exit-level assessment.  The Klein ISD is located in north Harris County and has more than 42,841 students in its twenty-five (25) elementary, eight (8) intermediate, and four (4) high schools. Visit the district’s Web site at www.kleinisd.net for additional information about the Klein Independent School District.
