Kuykendahl Road Construction Update (07/02/11)

 

 

Kuykendahl Road - Part A From: FM 2920 To: Willow Creek
Widen from a 2-lane asphalt roadway to a 4-lane asphalt pavement with continuous left turn lane, combination roadside ditches and storm sewer system, bridge over Willow Creek, drainage mitigation and traffic signal modifications. Project was awarded to Angel Brothers Enterprises, Ltd. Construction activity commenced August 23, 2010 and is scheduled for construction completion by January 10, 2012. Kuykendahl Road - Part B From: Willow Creek To: Augusta Pines Dr.
Widen existing 2-lane asphalt roadway to a 4-lane asphalt pavement with continuous left turn lane, combination roadside ditches and storm sewer system, traffic signal at Hufsmith Road and traffic signal modifications. Project was awarded to Angel Brothers Enterprises, Ltd. Construction activity commenced August 23, 2010 and is scheduled for construction completion by August 17, 2011. Kuykendahl Road - Part C From: Augusta Pines Dr. To: Carlton Woods Creekside Dr.
Upgrade the existing 2-lane asphalt roadway to a combination 2-lane or 4-lane concrete pavement, treed medians, 4-foot unimproved shoulders with combination storm sewer system and open ditch drainage, appropriate drainage outfalls including traffic signalization on Kuykendahl Road at Augusta Pines Drive and Creekside Forest Drive. The improvements will be built in two Segments. Notice to proceed was given to South Coast Construction to commence construction of Segment A, from south of Augusta Pines Drive to Cinnamon Run, on March 21, 2011 with an anticipated completion date of December 11, 2011. Angel Brothers was given notice to proceed to construction for Segment B, from Cinnamon Run to Carlton Woods Creekside Drive [aka Fazio Way], on March 14, 2011 with an anticipated completion date of September 9, 2011. This is a joint participation project between Harris County Precinct 4, The Woodlands Land Development Company and The Woodlands Road Utility District No. 1. (Last Updated On 3/1/2011) <LINK>
